Celebrating Dedication: VRP Volunteers Honoured at Ontario Volunteer Service Awards

On September 29th six* outstanding volunteers were recognized for the many years of continuous service they have devoted to Volunteer Readers Programme.  The ceremony at Toronto Reference Library was a heartfelt celebration of the unwavering commitment and generosity shown by long-serving individuals across the province.

15 Year Certificate Recipients: Marg Fisher (15 years), Andy Lipchak (14 years)

10 Year Certificate Recipients: Marjie Calla (13 years), Helen Foss (13 years), Elaine Rosebrough (13 years), Anne Coffey (11 years)

Their years of service reflect not only a love for reading, but a deep belief in the power of community and the importance of supporting early literacy. Their dedication has left a lasting impact on countless young lives. This recognition serves as a reminder that the strength of VRP rests in the commitment of our volunteers.

To these and all our volunteers—thank you for your remarkable commitment. Your time, energy, and care continue to make a real difference in the future success of so many children.
